Our Mission Statement  It is the purpose of Nishnawbe Homes Inc. to provide an adequate supply of safe, secure housing for the Native homeless and under-housed in Toronto and to do so in concert with similar organizations throughout North America.  We work toward a housing situation that develops equity for both the corporation and residents.  It is also our purpose to develop within the housing units, a strong sense of community and support in the context of Native cultural values, and that encourages an environment that is alcohol and drug free.

Our Vision  It is our vision to provide a housing environment that is socially supportive and ecologically beneficial to all life.  It is our vision that we will move to new levels of community self-determination in acquiring housing and in financing and maintaining properties and operations. It is our vision that we will become accomplished and self-directed in identifying and meeting special need within the community.  It is our vision that the Nishnawbe Homes community will develop a program for public relations and awareness of our services and vision.
